When you picture a flourishing Christian, what comes to mind?
Is it the pastor who seems to have all the answers?
The influencer with thousands of followers?
The perfect family that has it all together?
What if flourishing doesn’t look like any of those things?
What if it looks like a life being slowly formed into the character of Christ?

The type of tree described here in Psalm 1 is an acacia tree–a tree native to the desert that offers us a glimpse into the type of spiritual life that the Psalm writer would call blessed.
